Pace of the movie
Does anyone think that the pace of the movie was too quick? There wasnt really any time to think about the meaning of the scenes.
shareYes it was a bit quick. I am a very fast reader so could get the subtitles in time but for a slower reader they would probably miss it. I thought the pace could have been a bit slower
shareI would not have mind if the movie lasted a lil longer either. Still, I loved it, lol.
shareafter watching only 2 Almodóvar pics - Volver and I just watching All About My Mother - i'd say that the pace IS the director's style, which confirms the director's genius. if anyone has seen the referenced (with screenshots) All About Eve during All About My Mother, you'd realise that this 50's classic is a massive influence on Almodóvar, especially due to it's quick pace. i was blown away when i first saw All About Eve cause of this... and i think Almodóvar's efforts in the same area are amazing and capturing to soak in... i really have to see more of this auteur of modern cinema.... big ups to Almodóvar - boom boom!!!
