I don't know it you speak Spanish or not, so I'll answer in English. She doesn't sound Argentinian at all....but then again she never does. I think she has more of a neutral accent in this movie.

¿Te parece? No sé, no se le salen cosas como "sho" en vez de "yo" y todo eso. En serio me parece neutral su forma de hablar. Elegante.

I am a Spaniard, and she doesn't sound from Spain. Her accent, though mild, is still Argentinan, which I find great. It has charm.

reply

Isn't her character from Argentina? It was not necessary to hide her accent, since she plays a foreigner living in Spain.

reply

She's playing an argentinian so she's not hiding her accent. the thing is that the Cecilia has a more tamed argentinian accent probably because she has worked in Spain before and lived there for awhile I think, so maybe that's why her accent is more neutral. Still though, she's playing an argentinian and still sound as one.
Im not spaniard nor argentinian. Im from the hispanic caribbean so I guess I can hear both accents and not be confused.

reply

She does have a very slight Argentinian accent. But well, she always plays Argentinian characters, so she never really has to hide it. However, she's lived in Spain for more than 30 years now, so it's not strong at all.
