And it sounds suspiciously similar to CM Punk explaining why he left.
I'm sorry, but Ryback was never that interesting nor was he all that great in the ring. The WWE tried to push him multiple times and the fans never gelled with it or bought it outside of chanting "Feed Me More" along with him.
He seems like a genuine guy and I hope he has a successful future, but, I don't think anybody is weeping now that he's left.

WWE really does sound like the most miserable, most depressing, most frustrating place on Earth to work for. From the way employees describe it - be it writers, wrestlers, agents - its like a cross between a Cult and the most micromanaged dictatorship ever.
No wonder so many people are desperately trying to escape, look straight up defeated or are on the Indy scene and want nothing to do with it.
It does seem like a toxic environment, but fair play to Ryback, he believes that it's made him stronger.
I just hate working in those kind of environments, I hate being managed and management using KPI indexes as a persons worth rather than allowing them to be creative and flourish.
