You're right that NXT definitely needs them but NXT is developmental, and they don't need developing! They're being wasted down there, when they should be up on the main roster making the company money, and letting talent that actually needs time on NXT get it.
But, NXT has become more of it's own brand (like what they were aiming for with ECW post Heyman revival) rather than being the developmental successor of FCW (which aired on local TV). The real D-brand is the Performance Center.
NXT sells-out shows all over the world (not just Florida). So in no way is the talent "wasting away" in NXT. So if I were you; I wouldn't be laughing and underestimating it.
And I hate to point out Bragis' point, but some might be better off in NXT.
-Sami Zayn should have been sent to Smackdown Live, now he's wrestling on the prelim shows.
-Apollo Crews is jobbing to Baron Corbin week in and week out. The man had one hell of a match with Finn Balor on NXT. I'm not saying they should be sent back, but they should be utilized better.
They might not be dying, but they're fast approaching/at the age where they're not going to get used to do much other than putting guys over, and it'd be nice to see them have a little time in the sun before that happens.
You make it sound like they're the Dudleys, Booker T or somebody from the early 2000s. They're having their "time in the sun" right now on NXT. Like I said, it's NXT isn't to be taken lightly like FCW. And whether they're 25 or 35, they shouldn't be misused on the main shows.
Just kick back and be patient.
