With indy dates and overseas tours, Cody will likely make close to the same as he did in WWE. Even without TNA. And he's free to pursue an acting career.
It's not like lower mid-carders in WWE are paid millions.
Nah he's making a lot off his Indy tour, and now he's started an acting career.

Eventually that pay will go down once the "thrill" and "mystique" of him hitting the indy circuit is over. He's not exactly Daniel Bryan in the ring. His awful match with Chris Hero proves that.
It's up to Cody though. If he's happy wrestling where he feels appreciated and spending time with his wife then he made the right move.
Rhodes was at his most interesting as Stardust.
shareI read that he wrote a proposal that he should go back to Cody Rhodes and management didn't even read it. IMO, they gave him a ridiculous character to play and I don't blame him for leaving.

Considering what they were doing with him in WWE keeping him as Stardust and having him lose every week I think he made the right decision. I also don't see TNA going off air anytime soon and there have been millions of people say that it is going to end every year only for it to continue. In fact, I even remember some fans betting their life on it back in 2013 that TNA wouldn't be around a year later and they were wrong again.😂
I think TNA will eventually merge with GFW.
