Cena heel turn (Smackdown 10 04 16)
He assaulted Ambrose on Smackdown for nothing than a little verbal provocation. Thoughts?

shareThat clearly wasn't a heel turn. Just emotions running high between guys who have serious tension with one another.
shareMaybe it was just that, but for the first time, I'm wondering about this now because AJ and Dean made some good accusations against him and he didn't answer them. We'll have to see if he addresses them Sunday or next Tuesday.
Bill Gates was here 👉 X
He's done behavior like this before and it wasn't a heel turn then, just like it isn't now.

He's in the main event, for the title, and has to do something to generate some heat.
He has done more make a wishes than any other wrestler, and I think just more than anyone period. It's important to him, not a pr stunt. If he turns heel, kids won't idolize him as they take the good guy heel thing seriously.
He will move on to a movie career soon. There is nothing in it for him to turn heel.
B that logic, Ambrose turned Heel weeks ago by giving Cena his finisher after their tag match. And Cena did nothing to provoke him. It was a weird booking decision because the crowd started booing Ambrose and he clearly looked flustered by it.
Even if Cena isn't a heel, he certainly has been acting like one in regards to Ambrose. Of course, WWE probably expects us to agree with what Cena says about him and regard Ambrose's retorts as uncalled for.
shareJust another heel tease creative won't come through on.
shareA lot of the time they don't even tease, everyone just jumps to conclusions.
