Shooting Star Press no longer banned?
I'm glad. It was always b.s. to ban it in the first place because of what happened to Brock. It was a freak accident. It was stupid to have a man his size perform it anyway.

You forget about Evan Bourne?
shareYeah. And Neville does a riskier version.

True, but The Red Arrow is not technically a Shooting Star Press. Its altered although yes it is way riskier and I'm shocked he hasn't hurt himself doing it yet.
WWE is notoriously anal about this kind of thing. Hell the only person allowed to perform a Piledriver is The Undertaker, and that is again a modified version.
They need to lighten up on the banning of moves. The Piledriver ban especially (it is a really basic and old school move that has injured relatively few people) is absurd. Besides Austin took a really botched version from Owen.
The most notorious cases of injury with the piledriver are always riskier variants, so yeah, I agree it's silly to ban every version except the tombstone.
shareBrock used to do it all the time in OVW and he did it on Raw once. But he was definitely out of practice that night. It was Kurt Angle's idea.
Evan Bourne had to do it for officials a lot of times in a row perfectly for Vince to give him special permission. I don't know if Lince Dorado had to do the same thing.
George Carlin: It's all bullsh-t and it's bad for ya.
Billy Kidman still used it too even after Lesnar botched the move
