Paige suspended again, on her way out

Paige has been suspended again for another Wellness Policy Violation. Paige apparently has a nagging neck injury and the painkillers she took were against the Policy.

Paige tweeted "Same *beep* different day. Kids. Please don't get prescriptions or doctors notes. Not acceptable." and "Rules apply depending on your status." Her parents wrote very angry and sad Facebook posts saying they want her to return home.

She accused WWE of not enforcing the Policy fairly among the roster. She has been trying to get out of her contract but to no avail. This should help expedite that. It's possible WWE will keep her just to bury her when she comes back but that's not gonna last long either.

Sorry, Tom Rocks.

What a waste. Bet no one saw this coming when she was first pulled up to the main roster.

Cena doesn't overcome any odds. He's a wrestler with a God Mode cheat on.

Paige is a complete and total train wreck as a person. She really should get evaluated for mental problems. Her behavior goes beyond immaturity or dumb youth.

Having said that she is right. The strictness of the Wellness Policy does favor wherever you stand in the company. Brock goes unpunished. You know goddamn well Triple H isn't getting drug tested. Cena is not getting tested. And no way somebody Vince's age looks like that without "help." They even instituted some b.s. rule that has a violation knocked off your record to protect Randy Orton and Batista.

Paige should just ask for her release. She's clearly unhappy. They obviously have it out for her and no direction for her. She should go back to the Independents and make money there. Del Rio seems to do well for himself outside WWE.

reply

It's true what she said about the Wellness Policy. It's just that publicly airing them out is bad for her if they decide to lock her into her contract. She did try to negotiate a release but they said no. That and splitting her from Del Rio seems like they want to punish her. If they continue to keep her, they'll either bury her and dump her or she just won't work for a few years.

In what way is Paige a train wreck?

You are sin.

Dude she is a total basket case. I know Total Divas has a lot of scripted elements in it but there is also some truth. She was a nutcase with her ex, clearly has made enemies backstage with her attitude, posts all kinds of bizarre, cryptic things on social media all the time and is now publicly bashing her employers who she has to know don't handle that kind of thing well.

reply

She probably has enemies, when you have people like Nattie, who have been there for almost 10 years and then you have Paige come straight outta NXT and get two championship in 6 months time, you're going to have jealous folk who have it out for you. She was getting more opportunities than the entire Total Divas crew, who was at that time most of the woman's division. Paige has been shafted ever since Charlotte won the title, she's been placed in a new "feud" every month. As far as I can tell she's been great with fans and hasn't caused actual trouble with anyone bts (like Del Rio did) and she's been fine in the ring. The fact that she's getting suspended for prescribed painkillers is ridiculous.

reply

What enemies has she made?

Say, do you hear that? It's the sound of the Reaper.....

reply

She didn't make enemies per say, but hooking up with Del Rio who had a very touch and go relationship with the company didn't help matters.

She does have a point there, we all know that Brock, Vince, Hunter and Steph are not tested like everyone else. That being said, pointing it out publicly is not going to help her standing with the company.

At this point, I think it's best for BOTH the WWE and for Paige to part ways. Sad because she's so talented.

She's easily the best Diva

You would think somewhere along the lines, someone would file a lawsuit based on a hostel work environment. Nepotism is in full effect when it comes to who is exempt from the wellness policy. At 1 time I liked HHH, especially when was a part of DX. Those DX times were simply the best storylines in WWE history, however fast forward to 2016 and HHH is now a McMahon. So everyone has to take a drug test and abide by the wellness policy except...

Vince( steroids) McMahon
Paul(formerly known as Levesque) McMahon
Crock(juiced up) lesnar
John Cena
Stephanie(ugliest tits) McMahon
And Shane.. it just goes to show you how much you can get away with when it's who you know, who you
Blow, and how much money you have. Plus the fact HHH can't stand Alberto Del Rio.

reply

I don't think Shane McMahon is juiced up in anyway.

Garbage.

It has always been that way, and needs to change.

I hope she finds a good lawyer.

Why, so she can show up in TNA? Win title on the first night, before TNA goes off the air for good?

reply

He's probably more interested in the standard anti-WWE promo she'd cut on her first night there, lol

I am think she just doesn't care at this point. WWE really does seem like the most miserable place in the work to work for. And the little glimpses you get of the behind the scenes, it truly is.

You have Cody Rhodes, Alberto Del Rio, Ryback, etc. begging to get released from the highest profile company in the world. And now Paige seems like she's at the end of her rope and doesn't care.

Say here's an idea, why don't you recommend Paige to your lawyer, Cheezar (or are they too busy dealing with people who've flagged you on other message boards)?

Seriously tho, Paige should mentor ROH's Women Of Honor.

No, sadly I think she's just a drug addict.

WWE has said that her failure was for an illegal substance.

reply

Right, that does make a huge difference. Steroids are against the Policy but they are not illegal.

I like Paige too but it doesn't look very hopeful for her career in WWE at the moment and I think the best thing she could do now is follow Cody Rhodes and go to TNA 'cause they could use her in their Knockouts Division.

Paige vs Gail Kim would be awesome.😃

Isn't Paige under contract with WWE til' 2019? They could put her on lock and have her do nothing like they did with RJM.

What's going in between the WWE Senior Leadership and Paige happens in every business. The people at the top who make the big decisions and the people who bring the money are always going to have a free pass here and there. Simply Corporate business as usual. As for Paige, she's the perfect example of someone who didn't know how to effectively play the political game. Yeah, she was getting big pushes and was solidly over, but she didn't make the right friends and didn't exactly kiss up to upper management. Instead she did the opposite. At the end of the day I just hope she's happy. If she wants out. I hope they release her soon. But I don't doubt Vince tries to make an example out of her first. Nothing personal. Its all business.
