I know for a fact that this movie was filmed in my hometown of Edmonton,Alberta and it was nice to have these celebrities in town in the sledding scene, look in the background and you can see our Government House on 103 Avenue and Stony Plain Road and the snow in the scene had to be shipped in as we were having our first brown Christmas since 1897.

I was in Wetaskiwin for the 2003 Alberta Special Olympics Provincial Winter Games February 7-9 and I was No.42 for Edmonton "C" Division Floor Hockey Team and went home empty-handed after finishing with a 0-4-1 record. There was no mention of Snow Day being filmed there.
