the kids are monsters

anyone else feel bad for the snowplow man? the poor guy was assaulted time and time again just for doing his job not to mention those kids commiting grandtheft auto, the guy is unappreciated enough without all that further physical abuse. oo and not to mention the supposed hero throws the bully in front of the moving truck. if any of these kids were older theyd be charged with major offenses the little brats.

That's right. Don't take no *beep* from anybody's stuffed animal.

least you could do is argue it, or make a decent insult possibly, thats the whole reason i posted it but comon man "pray pray"? nowadays its apparently become the standard way of thinking that everyone religious or patriotic is the equivilant of being out of their *beep* mind, regardless im not at all religious, nor did my statement make any religious references i merely stated that these kids seemed to be sociopaths and the whole reason i posted that was because i wanted to get some modicum of pleasure from this movie or at least its fans who would argue defending it

Dude, I felt SO bad for the snow plow guy! I mean, he was only doing his job after all!

reply

Yeah and just because the kids don't want to go to school. They should enjoy school while it's easy and then hope for snow when they have to go to college. Much more difficult schooling there.

the kids reminded me of the christmas critters from south park which means we need to gather up some mt lion cubs that know how to perform abortions.....

Maybe that's why people thought this movie was only worthy of 4.4?

You know its just a movie, right? That was the whole point of the movie... its called snow day for a reason. The kids wanted an extra snow day. Sure, the kids didn't have to steal his stuff or steal the snow plow, but thats what made it entertaining.. no kidding they would get in trouble in real life. That's a big DUH.
Honestly.. this isn't the only kids movie with kids doing dangerous things or being mean. Harriet the Spy has breaking and entering.. spying and being mischievious.. and kids being mean to one another.. even defacing school property and running away from school. Look at Big Fat Liar.. I mean you could say its teaching kids to not do their work and be late to school and lie to their parents and sneak out of the house. Thats pretty much the general stuff in every young adult/kids movie. I'm pretty sure kids (after watching these movies) aren't going to try and do this stuff.. its called common sense.. But kids love to imagine stuff like this. Its not realistic because its not meant to be.

Actually, common sense isn't so common, really. There is even a French saying that says exactly that, "Common sense isn't so common" that I found in a quotations book.

There was this kid who got killed because he refused to heed the warning signs of a carnival ride that had been marked off last year.

Anyhow, the kids may pick up the bad habits, but parents should either try to screen the content beforehand, or talk to their kids about any matters that are questionable instead of just watching the movie and leaving it at that. (But there are those parents that take their kids into R-rated movies without a second thought, except maybe for the cost of another ticket.)

reply

Yeah, but snowplow man also kidnapped a child in the film. A couple of kids with a bird does not equal an adult male holding a 10 year old boy hostage.

Exactly who do you think the law would protect in that situation???

You're a butterfly. And butterflies are free to fly, fly away, high away.

Its just a kid movie. Most kid movies are made for kids and cannot have logic or reality applied to them.
