Knowing that it was originally intended for 'Pete and Pete'...

It all makes sense now since thinking back on it, this movie is structured exactly like a Pete and Pete episode.

Big Pete would be going after the girl, fixated on some affect he achieves and Ellen would resignedly be there to assist him.

Little Pete and his friends would be waging war with an authority figure -- especially a crazed, vindictive one like the Snow Plow man.

And the father -- Don Wrigley would be getting involved in a silly feud.

Does this make this movie redeemable? HELL NO!!!!!!! But this may sound strange but it feels really good to understand what the original intentions were and seeing the framework so clearly.

It's a pity that the end result was this incredibly dull, stupid and insulting movie.

yeah.. I would have loved this movie so much more if it was Pete and Pete. It would have given it so much more meaning.

*beep* Nickelodeon for not giving them the go-ahead on the Pete and Pete movie.

Oh damn a Pete and Pete flick in the mid 90's would have been perfect! One of the better examples of a should have been made film that never got it's chance, and what a shame it could have been a hit.

Iggy Pop was the only actor from the show in this, and he was oddly one of the best pats of the movie. It comes to show how big of a mistake this movie was.
