hardest dungeon

Everyone I know who has played this game said the Water Temple was the biggest pain the ass in the entire game. While I do agree there are parts of it that make it a pain, such as constantly switching the water levels, Dark Link, and the steep hill to get up before confronting Morpha, I don't think it was the BIGGEST pain in the game. I think I'd give that distinction to the Shadow Temple. That place took me forever to get through. For at least a month I had no idea how to obtain the lens of truth, thus halting my progress, and thus increasing my frustration ten-fold. If I remember correctly 16 years ago, it was the dungeon that finally pushed me to buy a player's guide.
