The only quote that I can think of that sounds like that is actually a quote from Prince Edward (the Black Prince). It is said after the Prince saves William Thatcher from the crowd and the stockade and before he knights him. He says:
"My historians have discovered he is from an ancient royal line. This is my word and as such is beyond contestation.
