I love this movie, but I've always had to wonder, what did they do with Sir Ector's body? Did they just leave him in the slit trench? I would hope they went back and buried somewhere without anyone noticing, but it never really says.

In the deleted scenes, I believe they say to William to be careful or he will end up in a ditch like Sir Ector
