Okay, yes, she gave birth to them. Technically, she was in their lives, but not for very long, though. I know that the triplets were probably about one or two when they were in the kiddie pool in the BBQ scene. She continued her affair with Shonte the limo driver and then ran away with him.

I know Charlie raised them on his own and in the end, he loved them with all of his heart. They loved him the same way as well.

I wish that there was an alternate ending to Charlie and Layla crossing paths one more time. Usually some stories have a father walking on out on a child but it was the mother in this case.

I know that this movie is a comedy, but man, there should have been some closure with Charlie and Layla, as well as the triplets finding out about their true parentage.

All I need is one mic...
