What are the raisin-like things on Charlie's pillow when Irene sneaks into his hotel room after the cabin shooting? I have asked numerous people and nobody can answer. Urghh...LOL! I can't figure it out.

I've seen this flick over 50 times no doubt but just now noticed the seeds for the first time - although I had no idea what they were. Now I know at least what they are, thanks !
