Sentience is all to to with numbers..(stop being conceited Humans!)

I think there is a common conceit among Humans. And maybe its common to other life forms across the Universe. And, who knows, maybe even robots somewhere believe that only THEY can think, feel and have sentience.
This film along with many films and novels to do with robots -bravely postulates the question:-is consciousness only limited to biologically evolved organisms? Are we not just robots sculpted by time? Who knows if computers will switch on and one day be sentient. Most smart scientists and novelists seem to think so. The human brain is merely billions of neurons and connections between them-all communicating. Maybe there is a consciousness 'threshold' in which, where there are sufficient connections (and experience) it becomes aware.
Its all to do with being able to avoid that swaggering conceit that only WE have this thing called self, consciousness and feelings.
Broaden your minds..
