One of Robin Williams best movies

Vastly underrated and a great drama, comedy, and romance all rolled into one. Williams was great here and James Horners music was amazing. This movie deserves more love.

You guys should check out the marathon I did for this movie. It's called When Technology Morphs Into It's Own Pinocchio. You can check it out on my blog.

Bicentennial Man is very much a Pinocchio type of story within the realm of science fiction.

It's one of my favourite movies. Has comedy, some drama and a part here or there that makes me tear up, especially the ending.

With competition like Flubber, Patch Adams, What Dreams May Come, Jakob the Liar, Father's Day, Popeye, RV, The Night Listener, The Big White, Toys, Being Human, The Final Cut, Jumanji, House of D, Jack, Cadillac Man, Merry Friggin' Christmas, The Angriest Man in Brooklyn and Death to Smoochy that's not saying much.

I loved Williams in Death to Smoochy! Rainbow *beep* Randolph!

Popeye was NOT one of William's best movies, lol. He himself hated it. I believe he said,
"If you play it backwards, it has a plot."
Toys was also not so great.

My personal favorite Williams films are Hook, Jumanji, Death to Smoochy, Bicentennial Man, One Hour Photo, The Birdcage, Jakob the Liar, Dead Poets Society, Flubber, Aladdin , What Dreams May Come, and Good Morning Vietnam.

I just saw it and Williams was very good. I should have recognized the score as Horner's! I've seen A Beautiful Mind so many times!

Can't believe I've never seen this. watching for the first time on HBO .. Was Robin in the costume .. What a huge lost with his death to the world.. I really like how you can see into his brain on the side

I agree that this is one of Robin's best films. May he rest in peace.

Welcome to my Nightmare- Freddy Krueger

This is my absolute favorite Robin Williams movie. Next is Good Will Hunting, Hook and Mrs. Doubtfire. What dreams may come is aLeo a great movie.

Tea parties? IS THAT ALL THERE IS?? - teddy from supernatural

reply

Ah yes of course Mrs. Doubtfire. How could I forget that one.

This was certainly better than Patch Adams. I am thankful that Andrew did not construct a giant pair of legs around the entrance to his house.

Dead Poets is good, too. Ethan Hawke, Robert Sean Leonard. Very affecting.

I'm not a woman, much less Deanna Durbin, but the old-time glam-shot appeals to me.

It is one of his best movies, I liked this more than One Hour Photo.

Cool.

I seen the film twice before(maybe 3 I dunno)and was watching it recently. What I liked about this film was the fact that it brought us from Andrew being a robot to actually going on a journey to become more human like and try out different experiments like lungs, stomach, kidneys etc(synthetic of course). Plus the genre of the film is more like a Drama/Romance/Sci-Fi as it plays out like these 3 genres.

RIP Robin Williams you are sorely missed.
