You know when she was a total badass and took revenge on everyone, sure that would've meant the end of the abusive joke, but instead we would get to see her destroy people which is funny too. Feels like they missed out on a good way to refresh the show and add some development.
shareI don't think most fans would have appreciated them permanently changing a major character's personality like that. It made sense as a one off for that episode. That gimmick would have quickly gotten old.
shareShe still isn't the old Meg though, she just holds her new personality back. At least they could let her tough side show occasionally to remind everyone, it's annoying to me to know she can kick anyones ass but she just let's them push her around. Maybe it would've gone down like the death of Brian and people would hate it, but then they could always make her go back to her old personality later on if the criticism was to harsh. I just wish they had tried it out a little bit longer.
