Yes, family guy is pretty old. It originally got cancelled sometime around the second season in '01 I think. William Street picked up the episodes that aired when they came out with Adult Swim and it brought the show back to life. I was just thinking about how it's nearly twenty years old, earlier today myself. Kind of can't believe it outlasted futurama, but I still enjoy it.
shareIt was canceled after season three. The unpredictable high DVD sales are what made fox resurrect the show. It did start airing reruns on comedy central the same week the DVD's came out, so that might be your confusion

Yep, Family Guy has aired over the course of quite a few presidents now, and made fun of all of them, which is good to see.
1999-2001 - Bill Clinton
2001-2009 - George W Bush
2009-2017 - Barack H Obama
2017-2025 - Donald J Trump

They've been extremely more harsh on Clinton and Bush and have essentially given Obama a pass. share
