Gatsby was perfect!

The Great Gatsby parody was awesome! The way the cast of Family Guy fit the Gatsby characters was perfect. Stewie as Nick, the erudite, sarcastic narrator, Brian as the pretentious Gatsby, in love with beautiful Daisy (Lois) who is married to the boorish Tom (Peter). It works! Plus I had to laugh at Mort as T.J. Eckleberg. (They could have made him Meyer Wolfsheim but I'm glad they didn't go there, if you know what I mean.) The only thing missing was a reference to Nick's ambiguous sexual orientation. They threw in the line about the gay bar for a joke, but there is a real theory that Nick Carraway was gay and in love with Gatsby, just as there are references to Stewie possibly being gay and attracted to Brian in "real life."

Yeah I loved this episode.

They could've threw in some jokes about baz luhrman's the great gatsby but all in all it was a good episode

I actually liked Mice and Men the best but they were all good. One of the better Family Guys in a long time

Same here, I liked it as well.

We had to complete a report by reading the book and even watching The Great Gatsby (1949) movie when I was in high school.

Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Of Mice and Men parodies were also pretty funny, but certainly not on par with The Great Gatsby. Maybe the bit with Tom Sawyer by Rush and Brian being killed three times, but that's about it.

Snoozefest.

The Gatsby bit as hilarious, but it was funny when Rush made a cameo in the Tom Sawyer bit.
