The new dog is a people-pleaser, an evil a-hole that should never be accepted to any family. No one is like that for real, it's all fake, people-pleasing behaviour to fulfill his agenda, not any real expression of his true self. The new dog is a sociopath - charming, but soulless, uncaring, and as fake as it comes. He only says what people want to hear, never what he actually thinks about things, unlike brian.

What's so bad about Brian? He's like any troubled soul in this world - the only thing is, he's a bit weak to his animalistic side, which, being an actual animal, you can't really blame him for, now can you?

There are bad sides to Brian, of course, he's a selfish liar, alcoholist, smoker, and sometimes way too doglike for an anthro-dog. At least he thinks for himself, and tries to figure out things instead of just following people-pleasing programming without a personality of his own, like that other dog.

Brian has an actual personality, so try to appreciate him a bit more.
