A voice in the background

I'm watching the episode Three Kings, and I can hear a voice describing some of the scenes, like someone is reading story board or production notes. It doesn't seem to be an intentional part of the show and I haven't heard it in other episodes, but how could that happen by accident?

I'm wondering if anyone else has heard this or knows why it's happening.

How are you watching it / or how did you watch it, on DVD, Netflix, syndication?
If it's DVD the most logical answer is you had the commentary on.

That's what's so strange, it wasn't a DVD or Netflix. I was watching it on TBS. I'm in Eugene, Oregon, at it comes on from 2:00-3:00 here through Comcast/Xfinity. I was watching hinges it on a TV that's connected to a little digital receiver so it doesn't come in on HD, there's no DVR and it has a pared down version of the tv guide.

When I turned it on in another room that has the cable box that has HD, the DVR setup and the usual guide, it wasn't happening.

The only thing I can think of would be TBS broadcast or Comcast temporarily turned on the audio description for the blind. I can't think of the actual phrasing but like closed captioning for the deaf, the blind can choose the service the describes the scenes to them.

That's got to be it. That makes perfect sense. Thank you! I hadn't even considered something like that.

That happened to me recently with another show on TBS and I thought I was going crazy. Like Kyle said, it was the audio description.
