Any new ideas to make Family guy to go to it's prime?

Or erasing seasons 4-15 from existence and continue the original show differently.

Same with American Dad on TBS. That used to be one of my favorites - it's sad to see how piss poor it is now. They evidently equate being able to say "sh*t" and "GD" and "a**hole" to being funny.

American dad is fine but family guy needs a lot more energy. I love every season of the revival series but FG needs new originality.
