A coincidence of course, but tonight's Simpsons The Nightmare After Krustmas did a '20 second room tone' bit a week after FG's Carter and Tricia.
I wonder if the timing was reversed people would be crying ripoff even though it would be just as much a coincidence.
Out of all the previous similar scenes, the 'hit me', the 'wind vs wind', Marge & Lois' resume for example, that's a random one to get the same.
