Something I'd love to see next season

Lois and Peter get divorced.

Now before anybody shoots this all to crap, I think it could be a good idea. First off, I think it would refresh the show a little bit and offer a different dynamic than just the simple nuclear family does wacky things this week. Their marriage is pretty toxic most of the time, and they've cheated on each other multiple times, so it would be easy to justify.

Now obviously they can't stay divorced, but that could make it all the better for Peter to work his way into winning Lois back by the end of the season. Plus, I figure Peter would get a lot of help from Brian, which could culminate in a pretty epic Brian Vs. Quagmire fight, which has been brewing for years.

Now they probably would never do this for a whole season, which would be ideal. But maybe even a few episodes?

I like this idea.

I honestly think given all the crap they put each other through, Peter and Lois getting divorced wouldn't be a bad idea. I know it's a cartoon, I would still support the idea.

Why would Brian helping Peter win Lois back end in a fight with Glenn? When did he enter this story?

Well I figured it'd be pretty obvious that he'd go after Lois if she were single. He's been pining for her for most of the series...

Eh, I guess although I don't get this longing for them to have their own 'giant chicken' fight. Their animosity has really been overblown by the viewers I think. Unless I'm forgetting an episode, it was entirely one sided until they had their throw-down in Quagmire's Dad.
It wasn't until Tiegs for Two that Brian decided to retaliate to which they buried the hatchet aside from one final dig w/ Glenn hitting Brian with his car. One could presume Brian got his revenge for that in Brian the Closer, which Glenn evened out once more by knocking his teeth out again.
