Just because Angela is appearing again doesn't mean they won't kill her off. Naturally they can't do anything for episodes that are already completed, or change lines that are already recorded, but they killed off Thelma after Phyllis Diller died, they could easily do the same thing with Angela or have a sendoff in some other way.

reply

I know. It might be her last two final appearance on family guy.

I don't doubt for a moment there's no "might" about it.

reply

I feel bad about her death, but am looking forward to the first Carrie Fisher joke on FG.

reply

Why kill off Angela just because Carrie's gone?

She's a terrific character and if Mila Kunis replaced Lacy Charbert why kill off Angela when another voice actress could take over?

reply

Out of respect for Carrie Fisher they should retire the role. Lacy Charbert didn't die when Mila replaced her.

It's like on the Simpsons they retired Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz after Phil Hartman died.

reply

OK...retire the character but they don't have to kill her off.
She just retires and leaves Quahog and maybe comes back some day.

reply

In a surprising but tasteful farewell episode, we will learn that a vengeance-crazed Opie jumped her in the parking lot one night, and raped and murdered her.

I trust Seth MacFarlane's instincts for gallows humor to make this somehow come out funny.

reply

I guess Peter is getting a new boss.
