I just saw on IMDB that this movie was going to be rated PG-13 but they later changed it to be PG. Wouldnt it be so much better if they went for PG-13? They would have much better humor, and it would appeal to more people.

I agree it would have worked better and maybe even made more money due to teenagers maybe seeing it. With PG, a lot of people may have expected Disney fare. I probably would have passed on it, but I had to see it for the sake that it was filmed around here, and I have 2 cousins who were extras at the science fair. Apparently they just needed to borrow science projects from the school and decided to actually use the real students (the ones without lines obviously). But is this a good thing or bad thing? I can see my cousin got puke on her from Murray vomiting on Molly Shannon, but on the other hand, I now have 2 cousins who are now immortilized on IMDB.com for the rest of time. God I'm depressed, lol.

This movie was better than I thought it would be. I was ECSTATIC when I saw Thrax. I was thinking 'BAD GUY! BAD GUY!' ^ ^

Thrax is SSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL!!! The next time I get sick, I'm going to be a lot happier. ^ ^

I thought this movie would be stupid because it isn't famous and I don't know anyone who's seen it. (except for my brother who watched it with me.) But I was WRONG! This movie ROCKED! I honestly thought it would be one of those stupid kiddy movies. But it WASN'T!!! Aahh I'm happy...

So... Anyone have a favourite character? I like THRAX (hell yeah) then Osmosis Jones second. Anyone?????

Warner Bros. thaught this would be a good kids film so they must've tols thge farley bros. to cut some stuff out.

i liked the pill guy.. was that thrax?? anyways. it was HILARIOUS when he was dancing. i too thought it would be a kiddy movie, because i watched it in 7th grade but it wasn't... haha

if this movie was pg-13 i would be mad. i am not 13 yet so i can't watch bad movies. But judging by the violence in holiwod these days, i don't think i'll ever watch a pg13 movie.

I so wish it was pg-13 cause they took out alot of good scenes to make it pg..such as "gonads gym" and more fighting scenes of thrax and jones

The reason for PG -13 could be explained by the content. Not since Cool World has cartoons been giving a real reason for an almost suggestive rating.

However, I watched the DVD and it made some sense.

In the Eye, or "SEE WORLD", There was a scene where Frank thinks he has something on his tongue, so he grabs a metal stick or something like it and scrapes his tongue with it, against a reflecting mirror on a Tractor, so everyone is amazed, but Drix is digusted, which then leads to the scene with Ozzy calling the Brain Memory Library.

Another scene involves Ozzy and Drix on their journey to the brain, where the ride on a vein the goes to the brain, and upon that moment, they realized the bridge is out, and go grabbing each other's hand and trying to drive the divide, Ala Thelma and Louise.

Upon driving, Frank belches before passing out, and sends them back on track.

I think it's within the limits of PG, but they were definitely pushing it with that "little dangly thing" exchange.

I agree it'd be better as a PG-13 movie. It's like they tried to make this a kiddie movie, but it didn't work... Like there's perverted humor in it and stuff. If they were gonna do that, they might as well have gone all the way with it. Either make it a kiddie movie or an adult movie, no more of this "inbetween so we can get a PG rating" BS. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie, but just... grr.
