I loved the first movie, I thought it was brilliantly done. I have thought that although it would be about 8 or 9 years after the original, a sequel should be made. They could do it so somehow Jones has moved on to a new body and contracts another quite severe disease.
The first one was a box-office disaster; making a sequel would be a huge financial risk. It's still fun to imagine a sequel, though. However, I'd want Osmosis to remain in Frank's body; I'd like to see how Frank is adapting to his healthier lifestyle and how the relationship between Osmosis and Leah has developed.

I have noticed, that like all good movies that were financial flops, this movie has garnered quite the following. I agree with EvilMiller, while seeing a sequal would be fun, it would be a huge financial risk and I think this movie is great enough by itself. I honestly think a sequal wouldn't do it any good. It's kind of the rule in cinema. Great movies can end up being tainted by bad sequals.
