I recall seeing the preview to this film and Connery said something to the effect of "...people have been trying to write the Great American Novel -- and blankety-blank did it..."

Can someone tell me the exact quote please??

I believe it was "... Great American Novel of the 20th Century. And William Forrester did it. And in his first try" or something to the tune of that. It's on TV as I write.
