Why exactly is it rated PG-13?

What strong language is used and how explicit are the sexual references? The parent guide says nothing.

In the beginning of the movie there is a freestyle type rap where some explicit language is used. Here is a link to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgEDipmNxzY

The "F word" is used twice. Some other strong language is used throughout, but mostly towards the beginning of the movie when the main character is joking around with his friends.

There are sexual noises heard in two scenes, the main character's neighbors. He talks about it later with another character. Also oral sex is VERY briefly referred to in the beginning of the movie (a guy is teasing his friend about his goatee and how he got that).

I think for the most part that is it. I show it to my 11th-12th grade classes.

Hope this helps.

Couple of uses of language. References to sex... Not all that bad, better than some of the stuff you see nowadays.

We're watching it in our Grade 12 class right now.
