It's too bad...
...that Sean Connery didn't choose to retire while he was still at the top of his game, with "Finding Forrester," instead of calling it quits after starring in a turkey like "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen."
Reminds me of a similar occurrence with Peter Sellers' stellar performance in "Being There," only to make the abysmal "The Fiendish Plot of Dr, Fu Manchu" his swansong--except, in poor Peter's case, he didn't exactly plan it that way: he died soon after making that abomination.
