Yeah, the chemistry between them was palpable. I'm not suggesting the actors were actually in to each other, but they at least played it very well.

'Chemistry' and how it's interpreted is a funny thing. I think it's one of the most overused words today.
I believe they had 'good chemistry' because Paquin was playful and flirtatious. That's pretty much it. If she wasn't playful and flirtatious, it wouldn't have seemed as though there was 'good chemistry' between the two.
