What happened to Claire at the ending in Jamal's Senior Year? Did her Father want her to pursue other interest other then being Jamal's friend? This was one of a lot of loose ends that could have been cleared up with five more minutes. What is your ending question?
shareI don't know if I'd call them loose ends - Jamal is just graduating High School at the end and we just wonder about the future. I guess we only have what we'd like to happen.
I think we can assume Jamal will have a scholarship at a good school with a good B-Ball program.
I would see him being successful on and off the court. And actually make it to playing pro ball. But always continuing to write, not forgetting his family and friends. He's a good guy, and will continue to do good things.
With Claire, we do see her father at the competition where he sees Forrester and learns about Jamal's integrity and talent along with everyone else. So I'd like to think all works out with Claire.
