Blue Streak 2

I was so gutted when the sequel never came…I love this movie; it’s defiantly near the top of my list movies in this genre. I bet if this film was made say in 2003/2004 a sequel would probably either already been released or due this year or next...

It seems that now everything is getting squealized (I know its not a word)…there is even going to be a Mrs Doubtfire 2, they did Cheaper By The Dozen 2, Daddy Day Camp is on the horizon, Are We Done Yet?, etc. I hope that they make a sequel to this eventually but then again it will probably be really crap...

I love Film and TV show much!

Yeah it might have been good to do a sequel back then but it's too late now, and Dave Chappelle, Luke Wilson etc. most likely wouldn't return so it wouldn't be very good, best to stay the way it is cause it's a really good comedy.

Columbia commissioned a script in 2001, in which the CIA recruited Miles Logan. I believe it was trashed when BAD COMPANY was released in 2002 (in which a street-wise crook was recruited by the CIA). I think BS2 is dead in the water by now.

reply

Fu*k Bad Company. It's too bad a good sequel was wasted because of that movie.

Mrs. Doubtfire has been dropped. Robin Williams said to drop the entire story since it sounded dumb, so the project is no longer happening.

Blue Streak 2 would be interesting if they got Martin, Dave and Luke to reprise roles. But I don't know where they could go with it.

There is actually only one movie that I'd love to see have a sequel but its too late. Ferris Bueller's Day Off 2. I know, they probably couldn't do much, nor get Alan Ruck or Matthew Broderick back. They've both are 21 years older and wouldn't even be able to pass off as college or high school kids. Matthew played Ferris at 24 and Alan played Cameron at 30. A 51 year old and a 45 year old playing 20 something year olds? Nah, wouldn't happen. And the fact is, there is no one else who would fit those roles so not only is it a non-sequel movie, its also a non-remake movie.

I think it would've worked if they made some sequel in the 90's and had them both in college but skipped out on a day or something.

reply

Shame there wasn't a sequel. I think it would have worked too. Something where it would end up with Miles as a real cop.

Noe you know how Dabid Hasslehoff feels trying to get Knight Rider back. I'm surprised BattleStar Galatica did a well job no probloms from The media.

I don't think college would have worked well though. Nobody cares or wonders where you are if you miss a day of class in college.

^Lol, exactly!

I would have loved to see a sequel to this movie.
