I know the white guy was a bad guy, but he did a deal with him. He did a deal that he would try to pull some strings and also that they would cut the the amount gotten from a diamond.
So why does he immediately chain him to the truck and start kicking him? I lost all respect for Logan after he did that.
He (white guy) screwed Miles Logan over in the beginning, so I assume Logan just did the same right back at the end. He only planned to leave him handcuffed to the truck and let the Mexican cops get him, but he killed him when he was about to get killed.

He (1) tried to cut him out of the deal in the beginning, (2) killed his friend and (3) pursued him and threatened to kill him multiple times throughout the movie just so he could keep the diamond for himself. That's why he handcuffed him to the the truck. Maybe pay closer attention to the first several minutes next time you see this movie. You should have no respect for the man who shoots and kills people in cold blood to get rich--meaning the man you are so concerned about getting kicked.
