Should be remade in the 2002 He-Man style

If you've ever seen the series, the 2002 revival of He-Man did a fantastic job of maintaining the show's basic characters and premises, but updating the animation to a spectacular level of quality, and giving the show much more mature, Lord-of-the-Rings-like scripts.

As Thundarr was a superior show to the '80s He-Man in the first place, if it were given a similar, serious, updated treatment, with quality animation and weighty storylines, it would be a spectacular series.

Yes that would be awesome. I also think a live action film should be made as well. Keeping true to the original series, it should start with Thundarr (played by an unknown actor) and Ookla (Tyler Mane) breaking out of the slave camp with the help of Ariel (played by an unknown as well). The first movie should NOT feature Gemini as the main villain. That should be saved for the sequel(s).

Mostly because I often have nothing better to do with my time, I've cobbled together an "episode guide" for a live-action, prime-time Thundarr series. Eps would be an hour long (including commercials), there would be twenty-four eps per season, and I've got the first season listed and about half of the second. I'll post the (incomplete) list if anybody wants to see it.

Aimed at fans of the original, plus the 18-to-34 demo.
