everything in this movie is so true and i think people are running away from the truth...from whats happening around them!
I am easy to criticize films. But this film i think gets too criticized. I find it to be a good movie with a heightened reality but it doesn't hide from the truth of housing projects (which a friend of mine lives in)
I saw this movie about a week after 9/11 and remember dealing with the emotional issues of that day still at the point. I didn't understand at that time how to move on. I saw the movie and felt so emotional but inspired by the story and the boys. And along with other factors, this movie reminded me that life goes on and you have to just keep living...
