Julie calling Triple H Hunter
Why did Julie Hart call him Hunter in a conversation when that is just his ring name? Are they just so used to calling him that? I always found that strange and would love to know the reason

In every retrospective interview I've seen, whenever Triple H comes up he is always referred to as "Hunter". Never "Paul" or even "Triple H".
George Carlin: It's all bullsh-t and it's bad for ya.
Most wrestlers will call each other by their kayfabe names. The late Paul Bearer was always called Percy because he was a sissy manager called Percy Pringle III.
shareBack then he was a heel known as "Hunter Hearst Helmsley". He didn't use his real first name back then (well before internet caught on) and this was well before the time that he went by 'Triple H'. So Hunter was the first part of his wrestling name.
Note: His old character was a rich snob that acted like a noble. Although his name roughly translates to Triple H, he was very different back in the day.
