Looking for a movie

Ok, so I watched a Japanese horror movie on television years ago, and I cannot remember what is was called.

From what I remember, the movie involves a group of high school girls wearing uniforms. They are being stalked, one by one, by some malicious entity. One girl is stalked in a library, and I think a doll of some sort is in there, on a shelf, watching her. One girl goes missing, and another girl visits her bedroom. The bedroom windows are covered in masking tape. At some point, a group of two or three previously killed girls appears outside the window.

I know this isn't much to work with, but I remember that is was quite scary and an interesting plot.

I havent seen them but could it be whispiring corridors or the wishing stairs

The scene that you mentioned, I think it is from The Grudge-2 (American version) because the scene is quite similar to that one.

But if the mentioned scene is from a Japanese movie, then I don't know about it.

Maybe you have confused it to be a Japanese movie because of its Japanese origin.
