What films were the 'French' sketches based on?

There are a number of sketches in the Big Train that are "parodies" of French romantic films of the 50's and 60's (the Potato Head sketch and the one with the Traffic Lights) but I was wondering what films they are actually based on, since it would be really helpful towards an essay I have to do if I could reference these films.

The potato head one is Jules et Jim, and I think the traffic lights one is Un Couer en Hiver, but it's been a while since I saw it.

I may have the spelling wrong - the English title is A Heart in Winter.
