Is it really that loud during a storm that you need to yell at the top of your lungs?

You can easily test it: Get a convertible and a friend, go on the highway and try to talk to them. It would be even more authentic if you can go to Germany and reach top speed, as this is comparable to a big storm.

it might be...bad example, but if you're in a tank, you need electronic comms just to talk to the other people in the tank

what I'm not sure of, is that the rudder in a storm has an effect just through Clooneys force of will
