What was the style name of Amanda Peet's halter top?

Being a guy I remember how sexy and hot those halter tops looked back around 2001 to 2002. That was a sexy style of halter top but it was a short-lived women's fashion.

As you can see on the dvd cover, that halter top fashion involved a mostly square piece of thick material, sometimes leather, that was fastened around the bare back by only one thin cord from each side of the halter top. The bottom of the halter top was loose and free to flip up. Of course a bra could not be worn with this halter top.

Today's women's halter tops are securely fastened at the bottom around the waist. But I miss the sexier halter top back then. What was the NAME of this 2001 stype of halter top?
