I thought plot was about two guys trying to save their friend

I thought the plot was about two buddies trying to save their friend from Amanda Peet, who played a hot babe, but a bitchy manipulative one who had this young guy on a short leash like her puppet. That's why the movie was titled, WHIPPED. When I read the imdb description the plot is completely different, about three young guys recounting their hottest dating experiences and going after the same girl.

You're thinking of 'Saving Silverman' starring Amanda Peet, Jason Bigs, Zach Braff, and Steve Man.
