Highly Underated

I just saw this movie for the first time not too long ago, and I must was very surprised when I came here to find that it had a rating of less than 5, because I thought it was great and it shows the true comedic genius that is Ron Livingston. I highly recommened it.

yeah thats right
the movie is stunning
it discusses sex as an issue not as erotic scenes
its like sex and the city "the movie" (only this time its about both sexes)

But yeah, I think this is underrated too. Ths style of the movie is addicting, I liked it. Ron Livingston is great in it too.

I was thinking sounds great right until he said "sex and the city the movie"...sex in the city is a terrible program. Nuff Said!

This movie covers a lot of topics, but I was surprised that it didn't cover masturbation and the typical male girl/girl fantasy. I liked the movie overall, but it missed those.

Rocky VI must happen! Sean Penn said so!

A long time ago, my friends and I all had free passes to an advance screening of Body Shots. This movie was so hilariously awful we spent the entire time heckling and cracking-wise from the audience. There must have been a critic in the theater that night because the next day, one of us read the review in the City Paper. The reviewer said the only enjoyable thing about the experience was me and my friends making silly comments throughout the screening.

My point? This is an absurdly bad movie. It's funny and probably worth watching if you're seeing it for free or whilst under the influence of...something.

I agree this is probably my idea of the worst film ever made. I thought it would be good after reading it was about a girl who gets raped after a party and assuming it would be a court case drama but this part of the film didn't crop up until the end and it was left unanswered. I guess the synopsis I read mislead me, d'oh! The rape part was overall totally pointless unless you cared about the film. It may have been good as a series, perhaps one episode focussing on fantasy sex, then another on the case of rape but as a film it was sloppy.

Damn...I wish you and your friends were there when I was subjected to this awful movie.

Just finished watching this and I have to agree that it was not AT ALL satisfying.

Livingston is FABULOUS in this, but his is the only character that has any real appeal.

The "rape" issue is so overly dramatic in this morass of commentary and boring cut scenes that you just can't believe it to be true. Not too mention the fact that Jerry O is just so damn innocent and wholesome looking you can't even begin to think he might have raped her. Hell, with all the "i don't like nice guys" talk from Reid and the brief burst into her sordid past of black outs and booze binging, how could you begin to think it was anything other than made-up.

The characters as a whole are cardboard cut-out psychotics: expounding the virtues of their beliefs one minute, and then tromping them underfoot the next in their blind stampede towards the shining light of hypocrisy.

A total waste of 90 minutes. Ditch this one for something with a bit more substance.

BTW, their was the one brief flicker of male fantasy made real as Reid latches onto Peet and they nearly suck face.

I saw this movie when I was like 10 years ago, and the only bright side to it, was it taught me, in a very strange way, about sex, so in that regard I didnt have to ask my parents what sex was, but anyway, this movie sucks, Jerry is hot though.

Sean Patrick Flanery was the best part of the movie, hands down. He's the only reason I even saw this movie. Jerry O'Connell was good, too. Ron Livingston was horrible, but then again, he always is. I've never been impressed w/his so called acting ability, not even in "Swingers."
