Just finished watching this and I have to agree that it was not AT ALL satisfying.
Livingston is FABULOUS in this, but his is the only character that has any real appeal.
The "rape" issue is so overly dramatic in this morass of commentary and boring cut scenes that you just can't believe it to be true. Not too mention the fact that Jerry O is just so damn innocent and wholesome looking you can't even begin to think he might have raped her. Hell, with all the "i don't like nice guys" talk from Reid and the brief burst into her sordid past of black outs and booze binging, how could you begin to think it was anything other than made-up.
The characters as a whole are cardboard cut-out psychotics: expounding the virtues of their beliefs one minute, and then tromping them underfoot the next in their blind stampede towards the shining light of hypocrisy.
A total waste of 90 minutes. Ditch this one for something with a bit more substance.
BTW, their was the one brief flicker of male fantasy made real as Reid latches onto Peet and they nearly suck face.
