"vagina = woman" ...?
Well *beep* you passed kindergarten you dense idiots. That's not the point at all. WE ALL KNOW that vaginas makes women and penises make men. How and why this is still ever a debate, not only that, but a LONG DRAWN OUT philosophical discussion repeated like a broken record, is beyond me.
THE POINT is, if I wanted to change my name to Miranda, no one would look at me in disgust and call me a liar for going by another name, because it doesn't threaten your oh-so-fragile sense of sexual constitution and response. But if I wanted a penis instead of a vagina, that bothers some of you, greatly. It bothers you so much, that you just have to say or do something about it, otherwise you can sleep at night or live in the same universe where this could possibly ever be a desire for another human being.
If everyone were so sure of themselves and their own sexuality, IT WOULDN'T MATTER if a boy wanted to become a girl, or visa versa. It is the vulnerable, uncertain, and weak minded individuals that let someone elses sexual business effect themselves so greatly.
Think for just a moment: Who CARES what someone else wants in a relationship, if it doesn't involve you at all? Stop thinking about other people having sex!!!! Has it ever occurred to you that by chastising gay/trans people, you're essentially thinking of them in a very personal and intrusive way?
People get all embarrassed and ashamed about being caught thinking about someone they like in a sexual manner, but on the other side of the coin, have absolutely no problem shamelessly announcing to gay/trans/anyone different that THEY'VE THOUGHT ABOUT what they do sexually, and they have a BIGGG problem with it.
The point is that some people don't feel comfortable in a cookie cutter shape like everyone else, and that it shouldn't *beep* matter, nor should it be a reason to hurt other people. In fact it's no one elses business, because if you haven't walked a mile or so in another persons shoes, you have no idea where they are coming from.
