Was this series popular in the states?

I live in Latin America where this series was really popular even though it has been almost completely forgotten now....so I'm wondering if it was popular in the states.

I liked it but it wasnt really popular. I'm sure most people don't know about it.

Actually, the show was very popular. This came out a year after the Annihilation debacle, and fans were actually pleased that they put out something of quality.

I live in the states. I haven't heard of it. Is it still shown on TV?

reply

No, the series hasn't aired since 1999, I believe. It was syndicated, and depending on what area you lived in, it probably aired on a local channel early in the morning or late at night.Usually on the weekend. The show was really popular, which eventually drove up the budget. That was the reason for it's cancellation.

it used to come after WCW Nitro and was heavily promoted during it. Of course if your a wrestling fan. But it used to be on TNT and I live in Jersey.

reply

Yeah, it did air on TNT.It started off in syndication, until TNT picked it up towards the end.I lived in Mississippi, so it originally aired on the ABC affiliate Thursday nights at Midnight. It then moved to the UPN affiliate on the weekends at 11:30.

I remember the show first airing on a local channel when I was in second grade when it first came on. I wasn't allowed to stay up late to watch it back then but I hear alot of people saying it was popular and I can see why (I just started watching it).
