Actually, MKC did perform well the first time around. In fact, it performed better than any of the producers expected it to. When time came to renew the series for a second season, the studios involved could not reach an agreement on distribution costs. Since the show was so much more successful than anyone had anticipated, everyone wanted a bigger piece of the pie for season 2. Ultimately, negotiations failed and led to the show being cancelled altogether. So it was not low ratings that led to the show's end.

dude its been 10 years !!! they dont care about your petition. the mortal kombat fever has gotten down , nothing we can do unless u create a series using your money. which ofcourse will fail now a days that mortal kombat isnt what it used to be for example the dragonball movie thats coming out here in the states soon , already came out in japan and those countries around there and because of the time they took to make this movie , it hasnt done well at all , so far its a big failure overseas and i know u can remember how huge this was 10 years ago ?? so theres my theory, its dead ,lets just have this memories. thanks
