What exactly is the point of having Taja on this show?

What exactly is the point of having Taja on this show?Someone mentioned something like this in a reply to one of my messages,so I thought that I'd post the question.Sure she was beautiful and very sexy,but that's all she had to offer.She was basically just a teenager who had turned to a life of crime.And she couldn't even fight very well!!!I know that people have stated that because she was very young she was a bad fighter,but I have seen people her age kick serious butt on screen.And she didn't even form any personal relationships.The only romantic interest she ever had was Tomas,and he died in the exact same episode that he was introduced in!!!And Siro,a great guy was living in the same house as her,and she never ever looked at him as a romantic interest.
