Well in MHO at first they know her as a thief so even though she is attractive they may not trust her. When they take time to get to know her and trust her more then she is more like a kid sister. I also feel that she dressed like a Tom Boy and was fighting all the time, and so for a while they didn't look at her that way. Later it would be possible that they both could find her attractive but at that point they respect her to much as a fighter and a person to make a real move on her. Kung Lao would not even try to make a move because of his teachings. Siro might flirt with her and her with him but they would not want to ruin their friendship. If they made it to a second season they may of had something between them.

In my opinion, the show got cancelled before they made any conclusive ending. It could be possible that they wanted to drag the romance into later seasons but since the show got cancelled, they couldn't do that.
That is why they couldn't conclude Sub-Zero vs Smoke storyline either.
